The Indianapolis Zoo sought to provide a new experience for the visitor in the Waters building but at the same time upgrade living facilities and life support for their animals.  The centerpiece to the renovated exhibit is a Shark Touch Tank, allowing visitors to get up-close and personal with live sharks.  Highlights also include a revamped grand entrance to the building and assorted renovations to the other exhibition areas within the Waters facility.

This unique project creates an experience in which hundreds of thousands of visitors annually embrace the opportunity to learn about oceans and the life found in them. The Indianapolis Zoo’s mission inspires local and global communities to protect and preserve the natural world through conservation, education, and research.
