Crawfordsville, IN, gained a new research and development building this month. The American Cast Iron Pipe Company selected Shiel Sexton to construct a 30,000 SF facility for their valve and hydrant division, American Flow Control.

The American Flow Control Center for Innovative Excellence is comprised of offices and labs totaling about a third of the facility.  The remainder of the building is dedicated space that focuses on development of new equipment and technologies for enhancing existing valve and hydrant.

This was Shiel Sexton’s first assignment with the Alabama-based company.
