Shiel Sexton was design-build partner for the new 13-acre, 250,000 SF, corporate headquarters for KAR Global, located in Carmel, IN. KAR has ten other locations throughout central Indiana, and has been expanding globally with over 5,000 employees. This new location provides additional space for continued growth. The interior design accommodates almost 1,600 employees and includes an open floor plan and collaborative workspaces. The building is designed to reflect KAR’s entrepreneurial culture, its auction history, and international technological growth. The new campus includes a three-season outdoor courtyard on the campus in addition to numerous outdoor amenities and a 696-car parking garage.
