Since 1962, Shiel Sexton has built a reputation on its commitment to the communities where we work and live. From creating jobs in local communities to investing in charitable organizations that create more vibrant communities, we have always done the right thing.
SSCares
SSCares is an employee-driven volunteer group committed to building our culture through community involvement. SSCares facilitates opportunities for employees and their families to give, advocate, and volunteer with a focus on providing new and fun opportunities locally. Every year, Shiel Sexton’s SSCares team participates in and hosts a wide variety of charitable events, from fundraising for United Way to building snack kits for the Boys & Girls Club.
Shiel Sexton Foundation
The Shiel Sexton Foundation provides funds and donations to noble causes that greatly impact our local surroundings. A 501(c)(3), the Foundation gives more than $25,000 in support each year.
Beyond the Build
We honor our ESOP anniversary each year during Beyond the Build, a week-long celebration of our company, our community, and our co-ownership. We volunteer one “Day of Service” to improve Indianapolis neighborhoods. Our employees’ mark can be felt all across the city in a series of beautification and improvement projects at public locations.
