Delta Faucet Expansion Preps for Breaking Ground

In an effort to provide customers with an enriched interactive experience and to consolidate area employees to one location, Delta Faucet is expanding its headquarters in Carmel, IN.  Shiel Sexton is the construction manager of the $17.5 million project that includes an 80,000 SF, four-story addition with basement and a phased renovation of the existing building. Delta Faucet currently houses its customer experience rooms in conference spaces that are temporarily lined with interactive displays that demonstrate the Delta, Brizo and Peerless faucets, tubs and shower systems.  The new expansion will open up space to provide a permanent home for the dynamic product demonstrations which will enrich the customer experience and understanding of the product line. The expansion will also be a new permanent home for the Delta Faucet product testing lab, employee conference space, a kitchen/café area and the top two floors will all be office space.  An outdoor plaza and second level terrace with outdoor seating provide employees with an accessible, relaxing natural environment.  The project also calls for adding walking and running trails to the property.

“Delta Faucet’s vision as designed by Architura will further develop the landscape along US-31, in addition to providing Delta with much needed customer and employee space.  The new expansion provides flexibility to accommodate future growth as well,” explained Shiel Sexton project manager Ian Prewitt.

With a groundbreaking scheduled for July, there is much to do to effectively keep the active and occupied site safe for Delta Faucet customers and employees.  Led by Prewitt, the team is finalizing site logistics, safety and quality implementation plans, and preparing site mobilization plans.
