Shiel Sexton managed the historic renovation and addition to the Gothic Chapel in Crown Hill Cemetery. The $1.6 million project provided Crown Hill with significant upgrades to the facility for funerals, recitals and meeting space while preserving the architectural integrity of this intricate Gothic chapel. The original building was constructed in the 1890’s with stained glass, carved limestone and detailed exterior finishes. New construction needed to match the existing building to ensure aesthetic continuity between the different building components.
