Hamilton Southeastern Schools Senior Academies

Hamilton Southeastern Consolidated School Building Corporation

Shiel Sexton was design-builder in the joint venture partnership with Skillman Corporation to complete the renovation and addition of senior academies at Hamilton Southeastern High School and Fishers High School. The $85 million project expanded enrollment at each high school by 1,000 students and provides an optimum learning environment with high functional and aesthetic performance with sustainable elements.

Major elements of the project included a new senior academy at each school of approximately 120,000 SF with teaching stations, administrative areas, a cafeteria and kitchen and various renovations of current spaces. At each high school, a new performing arts addition was constructed, along with a new physical education space, and expansion of the existing natatorium at Hamilton Southeastern HS. Both schools also received modifications to the existing site including parking lots, tennis courts, and football concessions.
