New construction of acute care hospital, ambulatory care center, and coordination with Indiana University for a new educational facility for the IU School of Medicine. Overall, the facility includes 620,000 SF for in-patient and out-patient clinical services and 115,000 SF for academic instruction. As OTR, the team is responsible for leading planning, design and construction oversight for the project from Schematic Design through Start-up and Closeout. The project includes multiple buildings on a greenfield site with substantial grade changes. The hospital will consist of 184 beds with all of the attendant support departments that are part of an acute care facility such as dietary, central sterile, administration, facilities engineering, imaging, etc. The ambulatory care center will be a separate structure housing a robust program of diagnostics, procedures and specialty care. The project is pursuing LEED® Silver and delivered under an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).
