Liberty Fund Headquarters

Liberty Fund Inc.

Shiel Sexton was selected by Liberty Fund, a non-profit think tank, to build a new 58,000 SF headquarters building in Carmel, IN. The headquarters incorporates offices for executive staff and fellows, conference space, dining facilities, a grand library for its extensive book collection, and a basement level archive – all which wrap a tranquil courtyard/atrium space. The facility is a timeless, “50-year” building with high-end finishes and a limestone and glass skin. The site was carefully planned to preserve as much vegetation and mature tree canopy as possible and the building was designed to flow seamlessly into its surroundings.
