Purdue Memorial Union Club Hotel
The Trustees of Purdue University
White Lodging selected Shiel Sexton as construction manager for the renovation of the Purdue Memorial Union Hotel. Located on Purdue University’s campus, the hotel was originally built as an addition to the Union in 1929. Renovations to this upscale hotel include a banquet kitchen and full-service restaurant, coffee bar and two additional bars. The space provides a lab for students in the Purdue School of Hospitality and Tourism Management seeking training and internships.
The redesigned hotel includes a grand entrance and atrium that reflects Purdue’s innovations while paying homage to alumni. The interior’s renovated with sleek, modern furnishings and an elegant design. Customary expansions for suite-style rooms were included in the project scope.
